“When I get older, I’m going to have a baby in my tummy”
“Baby piggies”

The moment this guy made a noise, Chloe was scared to bits. I tried to explain that they could not come our of the water but he was just too big and too noisy!
Christmas Day was very relaxed this year with lovely homemade mince pies, a fab dinner and some wonderful pressies.
It even managed to snow mid-morning which made the day so special.
Christmas trees, sparkly lights, first trips to the Theatre and lots of crafts – we are definitely in a very festive mood! A last minute and very exciting trip to England awaits Chloe and I. A long list of house jobs and some well-deserved peace and quiet awaits David.

Big Ted is now a favorite of Chloe's. He sleeps with her and has been looking fab in bracelets and necklaces!
Mama: ”What would you like to be when you are older, Chloe?”
Chloe: ”A hairdresser and an airplane driver”
This morning, I joined the other parents in Chloe’s little class as we watched our little pumpkins parade their own-made Halloween costumes. The boys and girls looked so cute all marching along and we were like bustling paparazzi trying to capture every adorable moment. The children had also made a delicious, healthy snack for afterwards including pumpkin seeds which they had all scooped out of a pumpkin earlier this week.
Last weekend we had a wonderful day at Frerichs Farm for Chloe’s school Harvest Festival, making scarecrows, painting pumpkins and going on a hayride.
Chloe is coming on leaps and bounds at school. She can now draw a real person (as opposed to just lines), loves to take photos with our old digital camera and can draw a ‘C’. Red Brick School has been a great choice for Chloe with small classes of children and wonderful, nurturing teachers mixed with really great activities. This Friday, the children in her class are having a Halloween parade with costumes they have been working on all week. They have all baked some treats for after the parade as well as playing ‘Farm Stand’ where they take turns buying, selling and growing seasonal veggies – pumpkins, apples and corn. Chloe has a favorite friend at school, Emma (a real one this time) and thinks her teachers, Miss Lynn and Miss Cynthia, are just lovely.
This past weekend we took full advantage of the glorious Fall weather and went apple picking. Last year’s pics we were dressed in long trousers and cardies, this year it was a balmy 85 degrees.
